Star of last year’s quirky love story Like Crazy and buzzed about as the next Carey Mulligan, the English beauty is now showcasing her steamier side as the face of the Dolce & Gabbana Khol Collection, a new range of smoky metallic eyeliners and boldly colored nail varnishes (a Dolce & Gabbana jewelry line was just launched too).   The Midlands-born Oxford graduate has carved out a reputation onstage in London’s West End and in under-the-radar, highbrow movies, including The Tempest, Chéri, and Brideshead Revisited, in which her dexterous acting sills displayed more than her natural good looks. Jones is certainly not the kind of huge star the pair is used to lassoing in.   “But she’s about to be big,” Dolce says. “We loved her for her look. She has an eclectic beauty and a magnetic stare.”   For any capable actress, the switch from a serious dramatic role to a pinup girl would require just the slightest bit of tempo adjustment. For today’s shoot, Jones has been squeezed into a corset covered in Easter egg-size jewels from the duo’s spring/summer 2012 finale. She makes the transformation to a glamour-oozing, hip-swaying 1950s diva in five seconds flat.
